Employment Mediation Vancouver

We offer employment mediation services to organizations and individuals who find themselves in need of using a mediator to resolve their people issues. In today's busy and fast paced world, managers and organizations are facing more complex people issues in the workplace. If you have found that someone who works with you or with others is in conflict and the conflict is affecting the work environment, we offer mediation services to assist in resolving issues and disputes before they escalate.

What is mediation?

Mediation is an alternative method to resolving disputes. It is a non-adversarial, voluntary process where the parties hire a mediator to assist them in resolving their dispute.

What is the mediator's role?

The mediator provides a structure and climate for respectful and productive discussion, and helps the participants identify and obtain key information they need to discuss the issues. The mediator does not make a final decision, does not establish who is right or wrong, does not directly provide legal advice, and does not advocate either party's position.

What about confidentiality?

The mediation process is conducted on a "Confidential", "Without Predjudice" basis to all parties at the table. The only exception to this rule is if the mediator was informed of an illegal act (e.g. sexual abuse to a child). A Mediation Agreement must be agreed to and signed by all parties.

How do I arrange a mediation session?
